The fall is an awesome time of year to visit the Château de Versailles.
Specifically the garden of Versailles.
The crowds are smaller, the temperature is perfect for those cute fall outfits, and the trees are in that beautiful stage where they’re starting to explode with colour.
I visited Versailles in the summer during my very first trip to Paris, and then again my second time in Paris, but this time in October.
Versailles in the summer was a different experience then Versailles in the fall, but I enjoyed both trips equally and for different reasons.
One of the things I was pleasantly surprised with when visiting in the fall was the Fountain show.
It added a whole new ambiance to the gardens with music floating through the air and all the fountains in full flowing mode.
It made for a very nice day trip.
Well enough of me talking, I want to show you beautiful pictures now.

This fountain was so funky. I thought the design was very interesting.
This eye catching sculpture in the center of the fountain was very intriguing. This was one of the few fountains not running during the show.
I loved this view from the top of the fountain with the trees surrounding the space.
This photo is my absolute favorite out of all the photos taken in the gardens. This trellis wraps all the way around the outside of one of the sections in the garden and has a few benches skittered throughout it as well. Not a bad place to sit and enjoy the view.
France is known for their tall trees lining the streets making beautiful lines. It was no different here in the garden. Doesn’t this photo just make you want to walk down this path and maybe settle down with a nice book ( and maybe a glass of wine)
