Today I want to talk about my favorite fashion luxury watch with you.

Last year, I received an email from the brand specialist of a company called Welly Merck.

They’re a luxury fashion brand watch company from Switzerland. The person that reached out to me told me they loved my Instagram page and thought I would be a good fit for their brand and wanted to collaborate.

This news made me super excited for obvious reasons, and it was also the first time a brand had ever reached out.

It was super cool and I liked the fact that they sent me an email instead of sliding into my DM’s.

The exchange

The representative had left a link so that I could learn more about the company and to see if I thought it would be a good fit as well.

After checking out their website and looking at the products they offered, I found I really liked their watches and could actually see myself wearing them.

The representative and I shared a few more emails back and forth, figuring out the details and all what the collaboration would entail.

Now, this was not a free gift given to me to take photos with. (In my dreams!)

I was given a coupon code to purchase any watch of my choosing, would take some photos with it and post it on my Instagram page.

Simple enough right.

The watches

If you go on the Welly Merck website, you will see a variety of watch faces and bands, all the designs being simplistic and quite beautiful (and I’m not just saying that).

You could choose from steel mesh bands and material bands and I loved the fact that they are all interchangeable.

They have rose gold options (my fave), silver (my second fav), and gold; they also have a black option as well.

I was actually considering going with a black mesh watch with blue hands but the rose gold one stole my heart.

I know I know, sounds dramatic, but hey, that’s me for ya.

Anywho, I went with this watch because of two things.

#1 the price and #2 the face design.

I loved how simple this classic watch was. No frills. No fuss. Just a simple delicate and straightforward watch.

The watch characteristics

The face of the watches are made of sapphire crystal, a trait I actually learned about not that long ago.

According to Google (my go-to for everything), Sapphire “glass” is a synthetically produced crystal that is almost as hard as a diamond. (It literally comes second on the Mohs mineral hardness scale) This means it is extremely durable and is resistant to scratches.

The bands

As mentioned before, the bands are interchangeable.

So if you wanted you could purchase the mesh option but change your mind later on, or you just want to switch up the look, you could purchase a material band and switch it out.

They have several different colours you can choose from.

The mesh band uses a simple clasp (clip) design which can easily be adjusted, whereas the material band has the standard notches.

Customization

Another reason I think this company is awesome is that they give you the option to engrave the back of the watch.

It is a separate cost but one that isn’t too pricey.

I decided to spend the extra little bit and engrave my watch to make it extra special.

Mine says “ Go with all your heart”.

It comes from the quote “ Wherever you go, go with all your heart”. 

The space on the back of the watch obviously can’t hold all those words, so I shortened it to showcase the most important ones.

I was happy being able to engrave my watch with a special and meaningful message. Any time I look at it, it brings a smile to my face and actually warms my heart.

Shipping

The watch actually arrives fairly quickly. They use DHL shipping services, so you know it is going to come to you quickly.

Because I engraved my watch, it tacked on a few extra days, but my watch still came within a week.

In conclusion

I didn’t need to write a post about this watch, it wasn’t required but I wanted to.

I get a ton of compliments about my watch at work and people are always asking me about it.

The company has honestly been so kind in their dealings with me that I offered to write a post about it.

I have a kate Spade watch, also in rose gold, and truthfully, I don’t even touch it anymore.

It’s super bulky in comparison to my Welly Merck watch which has honestly become my go-to.

I bought one for a friend as a graduation present, also in rose gold, and she loves it! Now a couple of my other friends want one as well.

The watches are honestly lovely and if you are looking for a new watch, do not overlook this company.
