From the bridge to the streets ✨

One of my goals while frolicking the streets of Sydney was to view the Harbour Bridge from as many different viewpoints as possible. It really is a beautiful bridge and for some reason I happen to have a thing for bridges.

I'm happy to say my mission was accomplished.

The next post is when it all came to a crescendo and I was gifted the best view and experience of my time in this city.

I remember a simpler time. One where I didn't wor

I remember a simpler time.
One where I didn't worry about posting, I just did it...3 times a day at that. I didn't have to craft the perfect caption or come up with all the relevant hashtags or think about my page aesthetic. "Should this picture go beside that one?" ...
I posted simply because I wanted to share the journey I had been on and all the beautiful places and pictures I'd been fortunate enough to visit and take 📸 Not having to think about what this or that person will think or how the caption will come across.
Truth be told times were also simpler back then and I didn't have a million things going on simultaneously.
I know most of the time I do it to myself, I get in my head and put that pressure on that really doesn't need to be there and I try to take on too much....just trying to be successful...whatever that means🤷🏾‍♀️.

I keep wanting to get back to that...those simpler times where I was happy and content simply sharing my photos and the journey without having to think about it so much. Without second guessing and comparing and doing things
just to be seen i.e using audio tracks I do not dig simply because its "trending"...
I'm so looking forward to simplifying things again

For someone who is afraid of heights, I sure do find myself at the top of giant buildings quite often...but that's just because I know the view is always going to be worth it. Up till now, I have yet to be proven wrong and hopefully it stays that way.

When I first started this page, I wanted to share

When I first started this page, I wanted to share in a way that brought people along for the adventure. I wanted them to feel like they were traveling with me, experiencing the fun and excitement like they were there. Not just show the highlights and then blaze on by, but also share the lows, the mundane, the "not so glamorous" parts and I feel like I've done that.

This IG world is moving so fast (and only getting faster) and I feel like I have to do EVERYTHING at a quicker pace. I've had to wrestle with myself but I have to stay true to my beginnings and finishe the journey for the same reason I started.

So while it may seem like I'm just holding onto the past (because I am going to finish sharing this trip lol), I really just want to finish with grace...not that I plan on finishing anytime soon.

I have sooo many photos and videos sitting in my gallery collecting dust and I feel it's only right to let them see the light of day.
